Recognising that the success of the studio is a direct result of the team, The Director places great emphasis in investing in his staff to ensure they benefit from a personally, professionally and financially fulfilling career while placing strong focus on ensuring a healthy work-life balance. 


Reponsibilities:

  • Lead on a £1m private residential renovation project for a returning client from RIBA work stage 3-6.

  • Work on one or two similar projects from initial brief and design stage through to completion.

  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants and suppliers and coordinate tender packages, including tender negotiations and contract administration.

  • Produce construction detail drawings and ensure smooth and timely completion on site.

  • Guide and coordinate more junior members of the team.

  • Progress in the firm, taking on a more senior position as the team grows.


Requirements:

  •  5+ years' post part II experience in practice 

  • Experience across RIBA work stages 1-5 on London-based residential projects 

  • Previous work with Listed buildings 

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (desirable but not essential) 

  • Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations 

  • Strong technical drawing and detailing skills for tender and construction phases 

  • On-site experience is beneficial • Experience in contract administration 

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, consultants, and contractors 

  • Ability to work well within a team and independently 

  • Good design sensibility 

  • A positive and proactive attitude
