Position Overview
As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading the architectural design efforts for our client's studio development projects. You will collaborate with the design team, consultants, and engineers to develop and execute project plans, layouts, and master planning strategies, ensuring adherence to UK architectural regulations. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of innovative, scalable studio spaces.
Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design of studio development projects, ensuring compliance with UK regulations
Collaborate with the design team, consultants, and engineers to develop and execute project plans and strategies
Handle client-facing responsibilities, representing the company in meetings and site visits
Oversee the detailing and integration of modern construction methods, sound attenuation, and modular building techniques
Produce technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Revit, managing documentation to high standards
Contribute to site layout and master planning initiatives for sound stages and other facilities
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial architecture, with solid understanding of UK building regulations and practices
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, with RIBA or ARB registration (preferred)
Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit for architectural drawing and design
Experience with modular construction, sound attenuation, and studio or commercial building design
Strong project management skills across various stages of design and construction
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships
Availability for travel to related projects as required, including weekly visits to the Somerset site
