This design-led architectural studio in Central London is seeking a talented recently qualified architect to join their busy team. If you're passionate about sustainable design and eager to work on a variety of stimulating projects, this could be the perfect role for you.


Position Overview

As a recently qualified architect, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects, from new-build and retrofit to extensions and additions in sensitive or heritage contexts. This studio is committed to your development as a designer, encouraging your participation in design reviews and wider conversations about architecture.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a variety of projects, including new-build, retrofit, extensions, and additions

  • Work on projects in sensitive or heritage contexts, from domestic to large-scale residential and mixed-use

  • Participate in design reviews and wider conversations about architecture

  • Develop and increase confidence as a designer

  • Collaborate with the team while maintaining autonomy and excellent time management


Requirements

  • Exceptionally clear and well-presented portfolio

  • Strong interest in sustainable design, both theoretical and technical

  • Presentational clarity and rigour in graphic and written work

  • Excellent command of 2D CAD software; willingness to learn MicroStation quickly

  • Proficiency in Sketchup and V-ray

  • Excellent post-production editing skills for visuals and illustrations

  • Good working knowledge of the UK planning system and building regulations

  • Project experience between RIBA Stages 0-2+ essential, RIBA Stages 0-4 preferable

  • Love of design, committed attitude to work, and eagerness to flourish and progress
