Are you an ambitious, skilled Architect looking for an opportunity to drive positive change and contribute towards designing places where life could be enjoyed in all its shades? This studio, an employee-owned, forward-thinking architectural practice, is seeking a talented architect to add value to their Shoreditch office.

Responsibilities

As the practice continue to work with high-profile clients and tackle exciting residential and mixed-user masterplanning projects in the capital, they are in search of a talented Project Architect to join their 45-strong team. You will play a vital role in contributing to the design and detailing of their large-scale residential projects, helping to maintain their reputation for excellence and innovation. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate closely with the project team to assist in the conceptualisation and development of large-scale residential projects.

  • Contribute to the creation of detailed project plans and architectural drawings, ensuring precision and adherence to design standards.

  • Participate in the research and selection of materials and construction methods that align with the studio's commitment to sustainability.

  • Assist in project coordination and communication with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project progression.

  • Work within a collaborative and creative environment, sharing ideas and contributing to the overall success of the studio's projects.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Part III qualified or equivalent

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing residential projects, showcasing a portfolio of successful work.

  • Proven design expertise, with a track record of working directly within a 3D BIM environment.

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both in written and visual formats, whether on screen or in person.

  • Strong understanding of the planning process in the UK, including local regulations and requirements.

  • Up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of current UK building regulations and compliance standards.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines under tight schedules.

  • A genuine passion for staying informed about current and emerging trends in new residential developments, and an ability to apply this knowledge to design work.

  • A positive and collaborative team spirit, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
