The Position

As a BIM Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in contributing to the BIM strategy of the wider practice. Your role will involve guiding project teams, ensuring BIM standards compliance, and optimising model management for efficiency and accuracy. Central to your role are tasks including:


  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams in implementing ISO 19650 project delivery and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

  • Model Management and Collaboration: Set project parameters, create design checklists, and facilitate design coordination and clash detection meetings. Ensure models meet design requirements and contract specifications.

  • Information Management: Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and collaborate with consultants to streamline project processes.

  • Training: Review and provide BIM training for project teams.

  • General: Be adaptable and take on any other BIM development-related duties as needed.


Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Relevant degree and qualification with a background in architecture as an architectural designer or architect.

  • Expertise in British and industry BIM Standards, such as ISO 19650, PAS1192, and CIC BIM Protocols

  • Hands-on experience with issue-tracking platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, Revizto, BIM Collab, and BIM Track

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and other BIM software

  • Advanced knowledge of BIM authoring, collaboration platforms, processes, and workflows

  • Effective communication skills to deliver complex BIM concepts to varied audiences
