Position Overview

As the BIM Lead, you will be instrumental in growing and delivering BIM services across the practice. This pivotal role involves developing, managing, and providing training on BIM processes and standards to project teams. You will ensure the consistent application of BIM best practices, contributing to the successful delivery of innovative, high-quality designs.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage BIM standards aligned with the UK BIM Framework (ISO 19650, ISO 22014:2024) across projects

  • Set up and manage ACC projects, collaborating with multiple consultants and overseeing risk assessment and management

  • Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and manage issue resolution processes

  • Apply Uniclass 2015 classification codes and manage project COBie setup using BIM interoperability tools

  • Provide expert guidance and training on Autodesk Revit and other BIM software to project teams

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective BIM implementation and delivery


Requirements

  • Solid understanding of British standards relative to the UK BIM Framework (ISO 19650, ISO 22014:2024)

  • Proven experience implementing and managing BIM standards and deliverables on architectural projects

  • Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit, ACC collaboration, clash detection, and issues management

  • Familiarity with Navisworks clash detection workflows and NBS Chorus specification application

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lead, educate, and mentor project teams on BIM best practices
