Responsibilities
As Communications Lead, you will be at the heart of their storytelling, bringing to life the conceptual, practical, and aesthetic elements of their work. Central to your role will be strategising and implementing communications plans, working closely with partners, associates, and an external PR agency.
Key responsibilities include:
Development, implementation and maintenance of a communications strategy.
Articulation of practice strengths and project narratives using a wide range of relevant tools (written text, imagery, film, and drawing).
Management of digital communication channels including the website.
Leading on external relations, including contacts, press and clients’ PRs, advising on sponsorship and managing relationships with beneficiaries of the practice.
Ensuring the practice maintains a strong profile in UK and international media.
Maintaining good relations with leading editors, journalists, and opinion-formers.
Developing and maintaining the practice brand and graphic identity in collaboration with the senior graphic designer.
Requirements
You will thrive in this role if you possess:
Strong self-management and initiative
A team-player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues
At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role in an architectural practice
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Impeccable organisational skills and attention to detail
A practical, down-to-earth approach with a can-do attitude
