Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to push boundaries and reinvent spaces as an integral part of tight-knit, highly talented team. You will:

• Collaborate with the design team to deliver design solutions that align with the client's objective and push boundaries on a range of high-profile commercial and residential projects.

• Prepare, refine, and present detailed design proposals, including 2D drawings and 3D models

• Produce technical documentation, including specifications, construction drawings, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations and standards.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to manage and coordinate project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building control submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and guidelines.

• Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and best practices, integrating them into design concepts and methodologies.

• Actively contribute to design reviews, participate in team meetings, and provide creative input and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Recently qualified architect registered with the UK Architects Registration Board (ARB) or an equivalent professional body.

• A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, excellence in execution and experience working on commercial and residential projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a sound understanding of other architectural software tools.

• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex architectural ideas effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of building regulations, codes, and standards.

• Experience working with listed buildings and a sensitivity towards restoration and conservation practices is desirable.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, demonstrating a passion for design excellence and attention to detail.
