Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to push boundaries and reinvent spaces as an integral part of tight-knit, highly talented team. You will:
Collaborate with the design team to deliver design solutions that align with the client's objective and push boundaries on a range of high-profile commercial and residential projects.
Prepare, refine, and present detailed design proposals, including 2D drawings and 3D models
Produce technical documentation, including specifications, construction drawings, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations and standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to manage and coordinate project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building control submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and best practices, integrating them into design concepts and methodologies.
Actively contribute to design reviews, participate in team meetings, and provide creative input and technical expertise.
Requirements
Recently qualified architect registered with the UK Architects Registration Board (ARB) or an equivalent professional body.
A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, excellence in execution and experience working on commercial and residential projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a sound understanding of other architectural software tools.
Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex architectural ideas effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of building regulations, codes, and standards.
Experience working with listed buildings and a sensitivity towards restoration and conservation practices is desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, demonstrating a passion for design excellence and attention to detail.
