Take your next career leap by becoming a Part II Architectural Assistant at a vibrant and ambitious architecture studio based in Clerkenwell.


Company Overview

This dynamic architectural practice, established in 2019, is making a name for itself within various typologies including residential, commercial, cultural and educational. Focusing on the design and delivery of high-quality, residential projects, they place great emphasis on merging poetics with functional logic and efficiency. You would be joining a small but growing team, where priority is given to sustainable design and commitment to supporting the circular economy and the use of natural materials.


Responsibilities

As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you'll be expected to multitask various projects, demonstrating command of detail and time management. You'll need to leverage your knowledge of the UK planning system with project experience across RIBA stages 0 to 3, with the added bonus of some RIBA stage 4+ experience.


Your first project:

  • You will initially work on a 200 unit residential new build project that is kicking off after successful land aqusition by the client

  • This is a stunning project that will make waves in the seaside town inspired by its unique typology


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Rendering designs using Microstation and SketchUp

  • Post-production editing

  • Navigating UK housing regulations

  • Managing diverse projects concurrently


Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:

  • Large scheme UK residential experience with local authorities

  • Excellent knowledge of housing regulations

  • Proficiency in Microstation (or willingness to learn)

  • Excellent SketchUp skills and post-editing production
