Our client, a boutique architectural practice specialising in high-end residential projects in the UK and large-scale international developments, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the firm's continued success and growth while working on prestigious projects.


Position Overview

As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice by overseeing daily office activities, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the architectural team. Your responsibilities will include fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and professional development.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations to maintain a productive and efficient work environment

  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and coordinating communications

  • Support the architectural team by organising project documentation and facilitating collaboration among team members

  • Assist in financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking

  • Foster a positive and inclusive office culture that encourages innovation and professional growth

  • Handle administrative tasks, such as expenses filing, studio timesheets, and organisation

  • Manage new business enquiries and contribute to client relationship development

  • Coordinate office social events and support continuous professional development and training initiatives

  • Assist with human resources-related tasks


Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably within the architectural or design industry

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and clients

  • Proficiency in office software and project management tools, with a keen eye for detail

  • A proactive and adaptable approach, demonstrating a willingness to contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environment
