Our client, a well-regarded architectural practice based in London, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager to join their talented team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the studio and contributing to the continued success and expansion of the studio.
Position Overview
As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the studio, ensuring a seamless and efficient working environment. You will work closely with the Directors, supporting them in project management and resource allocation, while fostering a collaborative and positive office culture that encourages creative thinking and teamwork among staff.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment
Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and facilitating communication between teams
Assist the Directors in project management and resource allocation, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Cultivate a collaborative and positive office culture, promoting creative thinking and teamwork among staff
Develop and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and foster a culture of innovation
Oversee HR processes, from recruitment to onboarding, professional development, benefits & incentive packages, culture, and policies
Manage invoices and expenses, collating and coordinating information with external accountants
Requirements
Proven experience (3+ years) in office management or a similar administrative role within an architectural or creative environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
Proficiency in office software and management tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
A proactive and adaptable approach, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and problem-solving in a dynamic work environment
