The Position
With three new hires on the way to build on their 6-strong team of creative minds, our client is now looking for a hands-on and proactive studio manager with bags of initiative, first rate multitasking, organisation, and communication skills as well as proficiency in graphic design to manage all aspects of the smooth running of the Studio in a varied role.
With responsibility across marketing, human resources, finance, project administration, and business development admin, you will work closely with the Directors to manage everything from ensuring the smooth running of the studio to the preparation of marketing collateral, assisting with the company’s social media presence, and researching leads and events for the founders, to conducting staff appraisals, arranging team outings and training, coordinating with PR. The position will also include diary management for the Directors and assisting with meeting/travel arrangements.
This is an integral and central role to the practice with lots of scope for progression on offer as the company grows.
Ideally you will be a graduate with experience in a similar fast paced working environment, although a warm personality, enjoyment of responsibility and a willingness to progress further with this role is highly desirable.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a studio manager or assistant in an architectural or relevant industry
Strong graphic communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Good time management and organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work intuitivelyGreat communication skills
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work well both within a team and independently
Benefits:
20 days annual leave each year with an additional day per year up to 25 days.
Extra 3 days of leave gifted to cover the studio closure over Christmas period
